On October 25-26 2011, IMAP and the Vietnam Medical Association held a joint conference at Hanoi Medical University titled "Medical Professionalism in the Context of Vietnam."  This first-ever collaboration was the brainchild of a Vietnamese physician who attended the 2010 China-US conference on Medical Professionalism.  Additional funding support was provided by the Atlantic Philanthropies.
