Application Instructions and information for the Physician Advocacy Merit Award and Education and Training Programs.

1. Physician Advocacy Merit Award


The IMAP Physician Advocacy Merit Award seeks to give national recognition to three physicians for their commitments and accomplishments.  This annual award includes a $10,000 cash gift intended to support their ongoing efforts in promoting and realizing the principles of civic engagement.

2. Education and Training Initiative


The goal of this program is to promote the development of advocacy curricula within medical education and residency training programs in the United States.

Please note that in this, the inaugural year of the program, the lead faculty member on the application MUST be a current or former CMAP/Soros Advocacy Fellow.
